Historical Media is a privately owned close corporation dedicated to the preservation and publishing of historical documents. The company was established in 2000 and first published its flagship newspaper, The Cape Odyssey, in January of 2001.

Since then we've grown the business by incorporating book publishing as well as providing document and portfolio services to hotels, artists and other establishments. Our first book, The Best of The Cape Odyssey Vol. 1, was published in the first quarter of 2007, and the book, WOODSTOCK, later that year. In 2008, we released A West Coast Odyssey and Tales of Shipwrecks at the Cape of Storms. We've recently published Wrecked - Under the Green Point Light (Below), a revised edition of the book, A West Coast Odyssey and our new arrival, A Cape Odyssey, which you can view on our books page.

Please feel free to contact us if you're interested in any of our products, services, or wish to subscribe to or advertise in The Cape Odyssey.
